Adam Beyer to headline a 4-day event at Drumcode Malta 2021

As the turbulent 2020 is slowly coming to an end, we are more than ready to finally hear some good and exciting news for the upcoming 2021. After having to deal with tremendous loss, the music industry is slowly finding ways to get back on its feet. Music artists have tried almost everything they possibly could, from virtual concerts to drive-in open music events and plastic-bubble concerts over the past few months. The pandemic is far from over, and parts of the world are facing new lockdowns, while music events and gatherings are out of the question. However, some music artists still remain optimistic and are working hard towards creating significant and unforgettable music experiences in the hope of erasing the bad memories of 2020.

The passionate fans of techno music who are desperately waiting for their return to the dancefloor, finally have something to look forward to— Drumcode Festival Malta 2021, a sister festival to the original Drumcode Festival in Amsterdam, which is also expected to make a return in 2021.

The Swedish techno producer and DJ Adam Beyer recently announced the festival expected to unite more than 40 artists in the central Mediterranean. Boat and hotel parties are also part of the plan. The 4-day event is scheduled for 16-19 September next year.

Beyer will have some of the biggest techno music names right by his side, including Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Maceo Plex, and Chris Liebing. The attendees should look forward to seeing a live performance from Kevin Saunderson's E-Dancer project, the Wehbba's Live Station performance, as well as DJ Rush's Drumcode event debut. The list of techno giants planned to perform also includes names such as Ida Engberg, Monika Kruse, Rebuke, Ramon Tapia, Sam Paganini, Pig & Dan, ANNA, Bart Skils, and Victor Ruiz.

“We’ve missed you. Our Drumcode Festival series continues… see you in Malta next September #drumcode4life” - If Adam Beyer's words failed to hype you up, we surely hope the full Phase 1 lineup will succeed in it:
